The World City Secretariat, under the auspices of the WCC, seeks to collaborate with and engage members technically (which is a mix of all craftsmen, artists, academics of governmental organizations, urban officials, etc.) in order to develop the annual goals of the world city, and implement the goals so that we witness the growth and prosperity of the city in the fields of commerce, education, promotion, production, and development of handicraft related infrastructure in Isfahan.
The overall goal of the establishment of Secretariat of Isfahan the World Crafts City is to promote the city’s level of handicrafts, and maintain the title awarded which requires to identify executive strategies for the growing handicrafts movement in all areas of education, promotion, development, manufacturing, economics, and commerce.
The Secretariat started operating after the city was elected in 2015 and has continued to do so. The Secretariat is responsible for monitoring the activities of the World City of Isfahan and producing an annual report with accurate information.
Following the election of Isfahan in October 2015 and notifying the relevant instructions, the organizational structure of Secretariat of Isfahan the World Crafts City began to operate.
